Are you currently working as C&B Sales Coordinator or similar position?
Are you eligible to work FULL TIME in the UK? This is a 40 hour position
Fluent English is essential - another language would be desirable
To ensure that all requests for conference and banqueting services are dealt with efficiently to ensure the best possible revenues. To communicate all client’s requests effectively in form of function sheets to the operations departments at the hotel. To assist the National Sales Team with familiarisation trips and show rounds as required
To effectively maintain the C&B reservations diary and the sales trace system.
To meet and greet clients on the day of said event as per department standard.
To assist Booking Office Manager or Food and Beverage Manager with the weekly forecast of bookings, when required.
To meet clients, showing them the facilities of the hotel and to take careful note of their requirements, organising them in the form of function sheets.
To update information on an ongoing basis and/or additional requirements of client’s function to ensure smooth running of said events.
To prepare, type and distribute daily planners for the forthcoming functions to ensure all the departments are informed.
To handle telephone, email and fax enquiries and make provisional reservations with an appropriate quotation.
To maintain the office file system and the stationery stock of the office.
To meet office daily tasks and deadlines set up by direct manager.
To provide feedback to the Food and Beverage Manager or Hotel Director of any pertinent guest comments and remarks.
To assist the Sales Team with regular familiarization visits at the hotel with a view to increasing awareness of the property and obtaining business.
To closely liaise with the National Sales Team with regards to sales leads, new contacts follow up and any other sales related business.
To set personal goals and priorities with the support of the Food and Beverage Manager in order to develop within the department.
Attend training when required
To be fully aware and adhere to Health and Safety and fire procedures
Any other duties as required in assisting the Hotel Director in achieving the objectives and targets for the department.
To provide help and support to conference and banqueting operations and other departments within the hotel and the company.
