I've the above motorcycle for sale.
It was originally bought to use as spares for my other XJ, and then to make into a trike.
However, due to various things happening around the house and garden,
this bike has to go
It is a BLACK 1989 'G' reg, NO tax, it's on a SORN, but it does have MOT, until end of Sept 08. Work will need to be done to this to put it back on the road,
however, not a great deal, more of a tidy up and clean!
Tank is a messy bodge up job, where someone has tried to repair a leak! (See Pic).
And it could do with a re-paint!
The only part I know it will need, is the fuel sender unit, from below the tank.
I may have one to fit!!
Clocks will need attaching properly, although they do work.
Engine is as sweet as a nut, no noises/rattles etc. Unlike my other one!
Standard exhaust system, in fair condition. Not a bad bike for it's age. Under 46000 miles, which I believe is why the engine is still in sound condition. My other XJ has 90k on it, and although it runs spot on, it has a slight rattle when starting!
These bikes will go just about forever, with normal looking after.
