Carer P A Part Time Available(uk)

am looking for work as a relief or part time Live-in personal assistant/carer

I am currently working one week on one week off. I am looking for work during the weeks I am off either as a relief carer or to work part time. I can also work rotating shifts every other week with your carer.

I am available during the following weeks:

9th – 15th June 2008
23rd – 29th June

7th -13th July
21st -27th July

4th -10th Aug
18th -24th Aug

Sept 1st- 7th
Sept 15th 21st
Sept 29th - 5th Oct

Oct 13th - 19th
Oct 27th - 2nd Nov

Nov 10th - 16th
Nov 24th- 30th

Dec 8th - 14th
I am not available from the 15th of December 2008 Until the 5th January 2009.

I have assisted male and female service users who have cancer, MS, Cerebral Palsy, after stroke,the elderly with dementia, learning disability and physical disability, young adults and children.

I have an NVQ level 2 in Access to Nursing. I have been trained in Personal Care, Moving and Handling, Hoist Operation, Food Hygiene, Medication and Basic First Aid, Health & Safety, Epilepsy, Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Dementia and Diabetes.

I have assisted service users with administering of prescribed medication, preparing meals, eating and drinking, personal care, assisted with mobility confidence, household duties, shopping including being a companion.

I am flexible and adaptable, reliable, patient, hard working, trustworthy and cheerful with a good sense of humour!

I am a non-smoker and do not drive.

There are no agency fees, just me to be paid.
