Qualified Social Worker(london)

Overview
A qualified social worker is required to work in this children and families team in South London. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will manage your own caseload of Child Protection, Looked After Children and Children in Need cases.

This is a locum position paying up to £25 hr

Main duties
In your role as Qualified Social Worker Children and Families you will be responsible for:

•Identifying Child Protection cases requiring investigation
•Managing your own caseload
•Writing Court Reports
•Attending court proceedings
•Undertaking direct work with children, young people and their carers
•Analysing data and formulate plans for intervention and service provision for children
and their families
•Working in partnership with parents, carers and other agencies
•Producing clear, accurate records
•Assessing and planning for children and young people

The successful QSW will work closely with other Social Workers in the team.

Key skills
To qualify for this Qualified Social Worker Children and Families role, the following criteria are essential:

•Have experience of working within Child Protection
•Have experience of writing court reports
•Be registered with the GSCC
•Have a current CRB
