Fantastic Short Term Opportunity (@ 6 weeks)(with long term prospects)

Start up restaurant project management implementer - exciting position!

Immediate start!

We are a new cafe/restaurant opening in the City (near St. Paul's) in approx 6 weeks' time. Due to the time constraints and demands of the set up to get started we need one more person to join our project management team. We expect that you will need to work @ 2 solid days out of every 7 day week or a few half days or three-quarter days to make two days of every week- a fair amount of flexibility there. We pay £100 for each full day worked, and pro rata. A day is 8 hours work but we expect a level of commitment and maturity where if a task requires a bit more time to get it done you will just get it done!

We are a very fair and reasonable and flexible ownership/management team so if you are the right person we can sort out any further details/uncertainties.

The requirements:
* someone with energy - who is ready willing and able to GET THINGS DONE
* you must have a sense of urgency, because you are joining the team late in the process so you will need to have a sense of momentum to match the tempo of those who've been working on it for months, looking to launch the business asap.
* some experience of management or a supervisory role at some level would be good- i.e., someone with a sense of responsibility and leadership and who knows a thing or two
* you must have good common sense and confidence- i.e., we need you to make sensible, pragmatic decisions without taking too much time and speak to people at all levels.

You will work closely with and report directly to the owners. The job is fast paced and exciting! You are making decisions and making things happen! You will be provided confidential information and your utmost confidence and trustworthiness are requirements for the position. You will be willing and able to make big decisions with the owners or to do small simple things- all of these are part of getting the cafe/restaurant opened asap.

This would be perfect for a seasoned ex-restaurant or cafe manager or supervisor who is on a break or who has a little spare time. The long term prospects will be discussed with you, if you are the right person.
